let’s work together to find how best to manage your current situation, regain your balance and gain a better understanding of behaviours and patterns that may not work for you

Soren Dahm

For the last 20 years of my professional life, I have been occupied with the human condition and particularly what happens to us under pressure with what life throws our way.

That work has taken me to 50+ countries around the world where I have provided psychological support to individuals and teams from HQ offices in Nairobi, Geneva and New York to remote field stations in South Sudan and Somalia.

I was lucky enough to also train at the Tavistock Clinic in London and was introduced to the clinical world of psychodynamics and psychoanalysis. For me those were the formative years.

Returning to Denmark (my home country) I work as a supervisor and consultant for Social Services supporting Child Protection in Copenhagen, before I got a job as psychotherapist at the Psychiatric Department at University Hospital Copenhagen. At the clinic I learnt the craft of psychotherapy treating patients struggling with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, OCD and PTSD.

The diplomatic world offered an opportunity as Crisis and Family Advisor for the Danish Foreign Office supporting diplomats and their families around the world, later for the UN with duty stations around the world in the field and in HQ.
